I discovered a few months ago a fun place called Facebook Marketplace. Chris and I had been looking for a seat / storage piece to go under our bedroom window. But I found something much better ... a dresser for the baby! It's pretty big, so the baby won't need all of it. It will be nice to have the extra storage.
We went to a nearby boutique and bought some chalk paint. It's a great way to repurpose furniture without sanding or priming. I'm excited about the progress I have made so far. It's a different color of white, and I will put clear wax on it when I've finished all sides. You can see the before picture at the top and the after picture on the bottom, and me in action in the middle!
