Easter, a Tulip Festival, and a Garage Sale?!

It's nothing new that everyone celebrated Easter this past weekend. But we still want to affirm the great thing that took place over 2000 years ago, when the Redeemer broke the bands of death and sin when He gave His life as ransom for us. We are grateful that Jesus came to this earth and gave of Himself, and that now we benefit from His ministry and teachings.

This weekend was quite busy. And it's springtime! One of the things we did was go to a wedding reception of one of my coworkers at Thanksgiving Point. What I didn't know (and to Cassie's great pleasure) is that we would gain complimentary access to the Tulip Festival! The flowers were beautiful and we took a bunch of pictures. It's a wonder to see the different varieties of just tulips. Please, see for yourself!

Before you get to the pictures, we have an important request. As one of our fundraising ideas, we would like to hold a garage sale, but we ourselves do not have enough to make a full garage sale. So we are asking for your help, by donating items that you would normally take to Deseret Industries, keep hidden somewhere in your house, store outside in a shed, or sell yourself. We are volunteering to come pick up these items (within reason) and store them ourselves until the garage sale. We would also invite you to come the day of and see if anything there stands out to you.

We do not have a date or time yet, but it will most likely be within the next 2 months. Please reply to this post or email us at holts.hopingtoadopt@gmail.com to let us know of any items you are willing to donate to our cause.

Thank you for your generosity and prayers in our behalf.

And now, the grand finale ... pictures!
