We have some sad news: we will not be hosting a family outdoor movie night this Saturday. We thought that, because of the short notice, we needed to get the word out there so that family's would be prepared for a fun night. But as we went into the process of obtaining a movie license (because it's a public performance), we discovered that just to obtain a license for one day would be more than what we thought the profit of this fundraiser would amount to. The kicker is that they have no provisions for fundraisers and certainly no discount to even help.
In light of this, if you feel the urge to donate what you might have spent to enjoy the movie, feel free to do so. You can find donation information on our blog page "Contribute to Our Adoption." We certainly have felt your prayers and appreciate the generosity & kindness you have shown to Cassie and I.
